Breaks very easily
I bought this guard on the 3rd July and I write this review on the 26th September. It last less than three months before breaking and this is not the first time I’ve had to replace the guard , I’ve done it a number of times …But I won’t be replacing it again ….I’M DONE . They’re not cheap to replace and then on top of it , you’re paying an equal amount in delivery charge that takes weeks to arrive .
The trimmer itself is a brilliant piece of kit , let down by terrible ,brittle easily broken guards . Back to my trusty old Wahl clippers

Guards break quite easily
The Beardscape is a great tool but the guards get loose then break. I've had to replace the 1mm/2mm one a few times now.

Fit fine and lasted over a year and still going
I purchased extra guards as my brio only came with 3 and wanted some longer guards (my fault didn’t read the description ). All of them fit the same as the originals I still use and have not broken in over a year of use. They are plastic, so you can’t just force them on, or you will probably break them, as I suspect is what others have done. They clip on securely and in my opinion easily.

Beard Guard Replacement
One of my beardguards snapped while putting it on the beardscape. I contacted Brio and they sent me a new one under the two-year warranty. I had the replacement a few days later! Great service! Thanks Brio!

This 3mm-6mm guard breaks quite easily (this is the third one I've owned)
I cut my hair once every two weeks, and use this guard and the 6-9mm guard. This is the third one of this guard that I've had to buy. They loosen after awhile then one of the clips will just break.
It's a shame, because other than this guard in particular breaking quite easily, it's a great overall shaver.

1-2mm guard
Bought this replacement as the other guard broke.
Guard is sharp on the edges which needs to be filed down to smooth out.
I find this replacement is harder to attach to the unit compared to the original.
Guards are definitely the weak point of a fantastic trimmer.
